Sunkissed Bronze Professional Moisturising spray review

Anyone who knows me knows that I like to have a tan. Getting one from the sun is tough on the skin (and near enough impossible at the moment, Births Summertime, where you at?!) so I turn to the trusty bottle. There is so much choice about and I have mentioned many times in the past that you don't have to spend loads to get a great result. There are so many brands to choose from on the high street and most of them are pretty fantastic!

Sunkissed are a perfect example of that, for less than a tenner their latest product the Sunkissed Bronze Professional Moisturising Spray is kind to the bank balance and great to achieve a natural tan with no fuss.

Bronze Professional is the luxurious new collection from Sunkissed, it is specially formulated to simplify the tanning process, making everything quicker and easier for you.

This tanning spray is quick and easy to apply and dries in less than 3 minutes, then in 60 minutes you have a lovely natural looking tan. There are two shades available, medium and dark. I don't like to do things by halves to I've tried dark.

Containing Argan Oil it provides intense nourishment too, plus it actually has a lovely scent.

Have I sold you so far? Well what if I also told you there was no colour transfer!? No staining your sheets or clothes. This is a massive plus for me! It seems like The day I put fresh bed sheets on is around the same time I decide to apply some fake tan and ruin the sheets.

My legs haven't seen daylight for what feels like years so they are naturally so pale! Which is pretty annoying as the top half of me catches the sun pretty easily. I have a bit of a two-tone thing going on! This is why using fake tan is a must on my legs!

Want to see how it looks? Here are some 'before and afters'.

I had to try and distract from my terribly pale legs with some heels - smart huh?

The difference speaks for itself...

This was after one application but as it takes no time at all you can apply it every other  day to maintain a natural looking  tan and look after your skin too. It's one step up from a tanning moisturiser really. Regular moisturising keeps the skin soft and the tan even and helps to make the tan fade evenly. If you want something quick and easy then this is a tan for you.

This is exclusive to Superdrug and it's currently on offer for £6.65 (usually £9.99)

Keepy Nail Polish Holder

There are so many products out there with claims to make our lives easier.
I have to admit when I first saw these little contraptions floating around the internet I wasn't sure about them. I thought WHY? Just why do we need this? Naturally I needed to purchase one and find out. It was the only way.

For those who have seen this picture and thought  'WTF is that?' This is a Keepy. It's worn like a ring  and it holds your nail polish bottle so you don't spill it while painting your nails.

So you can see where I thought ' right... why?' But bare with me. Yes, in the perfect set-up a table will suffice. A solid table with ensure that your nail polish bottle stays put. But I don't know about you but I'm always painting my nails with in bed, on the sofa or even in the car. I just like to love on the edge. Needless to say 9 times out of 10 there's some sort of spillage or accident. I either knock the bottle or I smudge my nails while picking the bottle up.

So the Keepy Keepy nail polish holder keeps things all nice and neat for you. I guess that's why it's called that (I honestly don't know otherwise).

The holder is 100% silicone  so it is soft and comfortable to wear. This also means it's totally flexible and can hold all brands of nail polishes. All shapes and sizes fit inside and the bottles are held in place really well. My extensive collection of nail polishes helped me test this out. I knew they would come in handy one day.

Having the bottle held in place means you can do  your nails anywhere. There's no fiddling around with the bottle or having to go 'ahhhh!' when your partner shuffles on the sofa and almost knocks over a bright bottle of Bahama Mana on your cream cusion.

Speaking of which if you  do happen to somehow spill any nail polish on the holder it peels right off.

Once you've finished painting you can pop it off over the  tops of the fingers so you don't even have to worry about your nails being dry. You won't have to slip it off like a ring and risk smudging them.

You could even try using this over your toes - I've tired holding a bottle between my toes before and it was not only a pretty stupid idea but rather painful. You could even paint your toenails in the car! -Providing you're not the one driving of course!

It's the simplest inventions that are the best, just look at the sandwich -bread, filling bread -genius.

Possibly a gimmick, but also a game changer. Come Christmas time everyone will have on in their stockings, I'm sure of it!

What are your thoughts on the Keepy?

Maybelline Master Contour V Stick Review

Contouring is a thing now, a really big thing. It's quite overwhelming actually, there's so many products, different textures, so many tutorials, loads of do's and don'ts.... Don't get me wrong, I love all this information, I don't know how I ever when out with a moon face of foundation without giving my face any sort of , I don't know -structure?! But finding a the right product for me can be tricky.

In the past I've used foundation or concealer in a shade darker than my base to contour and a powder with a shimmer to highlight, and it's always done the trick. Then I see these beautiful palettes around and I just want them all! 'These will change my contouring lif.

What a bugger they are to carry around.
I needed something smaller, coming compact. Maybelline heard my cry and came to the rescue with the Master Contour V Stick.

It's got 2 colours together in one handy giant pencil-like device. One darker shade to contour and one to highlight.

Providing you're concentrating and using the right shades (Monday mornings are hard) it's really easy to use. Simply swipe on the face and blend with your fingers, brush or beauty blender.

Apply the dark shade to the hollows of the cheeks, along the sides of the nose and at the top of the forehead. Then use the lighter shade to highlight the cheekbones, centre of the nose, brow bone and under the eyes.

These come in 2 shades, Light and Medium. I've got 'light' which works perfectly for a natural  daytime look but I'm tempted to pick up the darker shade to use if I want my contour to be more striking or if I get a bit of a tan in the coming months.

These are great to keep in your bag, I like to apply extra highlight later on in the day to brighten myself up a bit so this is perfect for that. I'm a huge fan of anything that can streamline my bulging make up bag.

For £6.99 and the fact that Maybelline products are always on offer - it's a winner in my eyes.
