I was really lucky to be sent a gorgeous package from Hampshire based skincare company Bee Good.
They use ingredients from British bee hives in their products which make a huge difference to your skin and they keep those little bees busy too!
Honey assists with cleansing and protecting, it's antibacterial and is also a natural humectant (a new word to add the the vocabulary there) which means it retains water in the skin to keep it supple which will basically help keeping fine lines away.
It makes receiving products all the more special when they are packaged so nicely. I was gifted this lovely Vanilla and Honey Lip Balm which was cushioned on a bed of wood shavings in a cardboard casing. There's no danger of this getting damaged in transit and it means if you're sending it as a gift it already looks lovely and presentable so you could send it straight to them.
I knew from the name of this lip balm I was going to love it. Vanilla and honey, two amazingly gorgeous (not to mention yummy) flavours and extremely nourishing ingredients too.
It contains British Beeswax which acts as a shied against the elements so in the coming weather it will really help keep your lips in tip top shape. There's also vitamin E and British Borage Oil which contains essential fatty acids to lock moisture into the skin British Echium Oil to replenish dry skin.
My lips are really dry at the moment and when wearing this I feel loads better about them. I feel far less self conscious about my chapped lips, they just look smooth and glossy.
It has a soft vanilla scent which is not to sweet to overpowering. It feels nice and light on the lips, a lot lighter than Vaseline feels. It's become my go-to lip balm lately, it gives my lips a nice sneer without looking greasy. The only thing I dislike about it is that it's a bit small, but that's because I'm greedy and just want more of it!
The Vanilla and Honey Lip Balm is £4.75 for 10ml.
You can purchase Bee Good products from Waitrose.

DeleteI love Bee Good, their cleanser is amazing and this sounds equally good I bet it smells really nice and like you I quite like lipbalms in a tube like that, so easy to just slap it on and not worry about sticky fingers or hygiene. x
