Revlon is one of my favourite brands and can do no wrong, especially in the lip department! Their matte balms were such a hit earlier in the year and I was really excited to see what was in store next. When I heard the new lip product was their own take on the liquid lipstick I had high hopes!
The shades of the Moisture Stains are named after some great holiday hotspots from around the world. There are 12 shades to choose from and I've tested out 6.
First is 025 Cannes Crush a lovely coral-tangerine shade that is lovely at this time of year
and straight away seemed to be my favourite of the lot. I think the shine on this looks
gorgeous.
Cannes Crush
050 London Posh is an interesting one, it's a peachy-nude with a subtle shimmer to it
which makes is almost metallic looking. I really like this as a nude shade with something a
little special to it. It looks great with a smokey eye!
London Posh
020 Rio Rush is a bright pink with blue undertones. It makes me feel all pretty and girly
when I wear it!
Rio Rush
015 Barcelona Nights is a gorgeous raspberry pink, such a summery shade and really
eye-catching.

This is one I love for when it gets a bit colder, it seems like a great Autumn shade
005 Parisian Passion is a deep plummy purple. Any fan of Kate Moss 107 will love this.
Parisian Passion
And lastly I tried 001 India Intrigue which is a cool toned hot pink, really vibrant and quite
Barbie looking -if you're into that kind of thing ...which I am so I love it!

I'm really impressed with the range of colours, I'm a big fan of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks but the colour range was more on the deep pinks/red side of things, I'm glad this range has a couple of lighter options. Revlon have covered all bases from nudes to pinks, vibrant corals to deep plum shades. They are all such gorgeous bold colours and really pigmented.
Although they look like a lipgloss at first they feel like a creamy lipstick more than a sticky gloss. It's easy to layer them to give a deeper colour or to even just add a little hint of colour by blending it in to the lips.
The colour stays on as long as you would expect any lipgloss to but when the creamy layer is gone you are still left with the colour as it stains your lips so you don't have to worry about touching it up unless you want the shine back.
I found they lasted around 3 hours as a gloss and then another 4 on top as a stain. And that was even when we went out for lunch. I didn't find them too heavy either, they were no-more noticeable than any other lipstick and when it was just the stain I forgot I even had anything on my lips.
One thing I will say is when wet you have to watch it doesn't transfer on your teeth -TIP: Pop your finger in your mouth and as you pull it out it will remove any lipstick that's likely to touch your teeth and prevent the horrible teeth staining!
Have you tried these yet?
What is your favourite?
