April - What I Wore, Ate, Read, Watched and Used

It's time for my little round up again. April has been a pretty quiet one actually. wasn't particularly well in March so I've made sure I've been taking good care of myself over the last month. I've been eating well and working out almost every day. I just want to be stronger, I hate feeling weak!  I've been thinking more about my fiends to be honest as a few of them have been going through some really tough times so I've been making sure they are ok and letting them know I'm there for them. Don't you just wish you could click your fingers and just make everything better sometimes? I'm hoping May will be a much happier month for everyone.

So here's a run down of April...

What I Wore-
dorothy-perkins-blue-dress-ootd
I went out for dinner and drinks with Sam and it was one of those warm evenings which was lovely, it was nice to be able to wear a dress and denim jacket without being cold! I was really hoping that heatwave was here to stay (wishful thinking!) and I'm hoping the sun comes back soon! This dress is one of my favourites, it's from Dorothy Perkins which has so many amazing bits at the moment - the shoes are from there too actually! I really love baby blue for Spring time, it's such a fresh colour!

What I Ate-

I reviewed the new bar in my town, the Caballo Lounge and after loving the opening night I had to go back for lunch and try out a bit more. I've tried their Tapas and now the clubs sandwich and both are excellent. The menu is great, there's still so much more I need to taste. As it's only down the road from me it's only a matter of time before I sample the whole menu.

What I Read-
haven't done a lot of reading this month. But I did read this great article -
9 Reasons I hate Frozen Now hate is a strong word, I don't think I hate Frozen but I do think it is a very over rated Disney film. This article is really funny - even if you love the film it does make some really good points!

What I Watched-
cinderella-exhibition-poster-2015-film
After going to the exhibition  it was only natural the film would follow. I went to see Cinderella with my best mate and the only word I can use to describe it is 'magical' - that sounds cheesy but as a huge Disney fan it was incredible. Somehow everything about it made me feel like a 5 year old again with that sense of wonder. I grinned from ear to ear the whole way through (apart from the part where *SPOILER ALERT* the Stepmother smashes the slipper - I don't get on with shoe abuse!) and I was so impressed with the casting too. Cinderella is so kind and innocent, you instantly hate the Stepmother and Stepsisters and you can completely see why the whole kingdom want to marry Prince Charming! Wonderful wonderful film and I can't wait for the Blu-Ray so I can watch it to death!

What I Used-
l'oreal-rouge-caresse-lipstick-nude-and-cute
I've been loving this L'Oreal Rouge Caresse lipstick in Nude and Cute. It's so creamy and a really fresh colour for Spring. It's not too bright but still gives a great pop of colour - the shine to it is lovely too. You can get it at a brilliant discount site for only £5.99 which is an added bonus!

It's no secret that I've been looking forward to May, we go to Disneyland and I can't wait! I just know I'm going to be emotional when I see Mason meet his favourite characters, he loves all the classics like Peter Pan and Pinocchio so it's going to be lovely to see. The next few weeks are going to go so slowly! Disneyland aside, I always love May, it's 'usually' a lot warmer and there's all the bank holidays so that means more time with Sam.

I'd love to know how your April was - tell me in the comments!
What are your thoughts on Frozen
