I'd seen the Bourjois Colorband crayons in boots and I was immediately drawn to them. The golden shades really stood out to me and after swatching them I was in love. They felt so creamy and they stayed put on my hand all day. I could see how long lasting they were but I told myself I just didn't need them.
I was lucky enough to win a whole set of them through bourjois Twitter page and it made my day. I was obviously just meant to have these babies in my life! I was just getting to the stage of convincing myself I could buy just one but choosing a colour was just too difficult!
I love any make up product that I can easily carry around with me for touch ups or to transform a look and I'm already a huge fan of Gosh Forever Eyeshadow sticks. I was pleased that Bourjois have slightly different shades to Gosh so I didn't feel like I had any doubles in my stash. #MakeUpHoarderProblems
These 2 in 1 eyeshadow sticks are so versatile, they are easily worn alone along the lash line, blended to create a smokey look, worn as a block colour on the lid even as a base for a powder eyeshadow. They really are so pigmented, the black is seriously impressive.
They come in 6 really wearable shades -
01 Noir Abstrait -a highly pigmented black
02 Brun Dadaiate - a dark golden bronze then is almost brown
03 Beige Minimalist - a subtle golden nude
04 Rose Fauviste - a rose gold peachy nude
05 Mauve Baroque - a dusky lilac
06 Gris Graffiti -a gun metal grey
Top to Bottom -Noir Abstrait, Gris Graffiti, Brun Dadaiate, Mauve Baroque, Rose Fauviste, Beige Minimalist
02, the brown gold shade is lovely in the crease of the eyelid with 03 to brighten up when applied on the inner corner of the eye.
I wasn't too sure on the lilac shade as at first it looked like I had a sore eye but blended with the grey it looked really lovely and so different, I love a shade that makes me step out of my comfort zone! It's great to experiment with things like this and they're so easy to apply you can't go wrong.
These really stay put all day and don't crease. Or flake at all, I'm so impressed at the quality for 5.99 each (and Bourjois are 3 for 2 at Boots at the moment too!)
