The Fairytale Tag

It's been a while since I did a Tag and I've had this one saved in my drafts for a while as it seemed like a fun one to do. So settle down with a cup of tea and have a read of some loosely based fairytale questions.....

fairytale-tag-photojennic

Sleeping Beauty - How many hours do you sleep at night?
At the moment I'm sleeping so badly. I don't fall asleep til gone midnight, I blame twitter for this actually! If I just turned my phone off I'd sleep so much more. I'm lucky that M has never been an early riser and I can get up and shower before he wakes up. I probably get about 7 hours but it feels like less!

Cinderella - Do you have a curfew?
I should give myself  one!

Rapunzel - Do you love being outside?
I love it! I'm a firm believer in the outdoors giving you the boost you need on a bad day. I'm more keen on it when it's sunny, I'll be out all day if it is! If I'm ever feeling a bit down or things are getting on top of me I go for a walk and it makes all the difference.

Snow White - Do you consider yourself beautiful?
I scrub up ok, I could have scary ridiculous eyebrows and not know how to glue on lashes properly.

Red Riding Hood - Do you trust strangers easily?
I've improved. I am very good at reading people and know which ones to trust.

The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids - Are you easily fooled?
...I've never heard of this fairy tale!
NOPE. I've got my wits about me  and I suss out people from the moment I meet them.

Beauty and the Beast - What makes someone beautiful in your eyes?
Being polite, well spoken, kind and honest. Honestly is SO important to me. I don't like liars, they always get found out.

The Little Mermaid - What would you sacrifice for love?
I wouldn't say I sacrificed for love but I was in a long term relationship, we lived together, joint account, joint bills, owned furniture and a car together, it was all very secure but I just wasn't happy. It would have been much easier to plod along and stay in the relationship but I found a guy I really clicked with and although being together meant we were skint, had to move in with my parents and everything was a big old mess, it was totally worth it and I'm a million times happier now!

The Frog Prince - What do you find disgusting?
-Spitting! (urgh!)
-People that cheat the system and play the victim for sympathy
-People that throw around the word 'bully'.
-People that smoke weed.
-Anyone who has animals or children and doesn't take care of them properly.

Jack and the Beanstalk - Do you have any plants?
No, if I had the money I'd constantly have fresh flowers in every room though. It just seems like there's more important things to spend money on at the moment.

Puss in Boots - Do you have pets? If not, do you want them?
I plan to get a German Shepherd when we move to a bigger place. I'd love one now but it's not fair on a dog to have a small garden and a flat to live in.

Bluebeard - What is your weak point?
...Shoes.

Pinocchio - What is your biggest wish?
Just to have more money to treat my amazing friends and family more. I'd love to be able to say thank you with more than words.

Peter Pan - What is your mental age?
I think I act my age really, maybe a couple of years younger. I know some people my age still go out getting wasted but that's just not my style, I've done that and I had a lot of fun at the time. I love my housewife role and I'm very old fashioned but at the same time I still like to be silly and have fun. I've got the rest of my life to be a proper grown up!

The Star Money - What is your most valuable possession?
My son.

Gold Mary and Pitch Mary - Are you a hard worker or a lazy one?
Another fairy tale that I don't know!
I'm a very hard worker. I don't stop. I've never been lazy and I like to be on the go. If I have a passion for something I give it 100%. I definitely do too much and cannot understand people who sleep all day or spend all their time on Facebook moaning.

The Snow Queen - Who is your best friend?
My best mate is the funniest person I know and knows me like no one else does. We've been mates since we were little and although we drifted apart in our late teenage years you would never know we'd been apart. I could literally write an essay on why she's amazing, shes kind, honest, hilarious and nutty as a fruitcake, she's the perfect friend.

The Princess and the Pea - Are you sensitive?
I can take things to heart if they are something I care about or it's from someone that matters. If a layabout calls me smug for example, I would just find that funny. I just switch off and ignore it, life's too short to get upset my silly things and  am far too busy for nonsense.

Godfather Death - What qualities make a good parent?
Godfather Death?! What kind of fairy tale is that?!
Being strong, even when life gets you down you need to power through no matter what. It's also about balance and not losing your own identity. I don't have a strict routine at all, and I like to treat M like one of us. I've learnt a lot from my parents, they were apart for 10 years and I never heard them speak badly of each other. There was never any rivalry and to this day I don't know why they broke up, it's none of my business. They worked together as parents while they were apart and still do now they're back together. I think that's why my family is so close. I really don't like when I hear people slag off their children's father or something - especially if they aren't doing a fab job themselves.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses/The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes - Do you like parties?
You're just making these up now..!
My ideal parties are fancy dinners where you all end up laughing into the night over great food, a couple of drinks, great music and conversation.

The Emperor's New Clothes - Do you care a lot about your clothing?
Not majorly. I'm terrible at dressing casually, it's always jeans, heels and a vest top. I'm much better at 'going out' clothes. I care more about my shoes than my clothes.

The Brave Little Tailor - Do you consider yourself brave?
Very.  I've been through so much. I'm the toughest I can ever be.
