Balance Me Radiance Face Mask

I was feeling a bit guilty the other night after leaving my make up on over night at the weekend after being out late with Sam. I've been so good lately, I've even been taking off my make up in the afternoon if I know I'm not leaving the house again. I've really been giving my skin the break it's needed for years!

So to say sorry to my skin for the little slip up I treated it to a mask - the Balance Me Radiance Face Mask to be exact.
I use a face make once or twice a fortnight,  to be honest I'd like to use them more but finding the time to have a proper pamper evening can be tricky. I tend to prefer spending my evening chatting the night away with Sam.
My favourite mask is the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask but using that every time can be a little costly so it's nice to find something a little more affordable.

This one is a little different from other masks I've tried. You could easily mistake it for an exfoliator at first.

It's got quite a thin consistency with ground walnut shells that exfoliate away the dead skin cells.

To apply you just smooth on to to cleansed skin in circular motions, leave for 5 minutes and remove with a warm cloth. It's great that all it takes is 5 minutes to do its thing.

The mask doesn't exactly dry and feel tight and like it will crack like many masks do, it feels incredibly gentle.

After rinsing it off I instantly felt like my skin had had a proper deep clean and all impurities have been removed. It left my skin so soft with a noticeable glow. Any dullness had vanished thanks to the walnut shells scrubbing away all the bad bits! I basically looked radiant - I guess the clue was in the name!

I wouldn't say there's any strong noticeable smell but it is packed with calming essential oils and ingredients such as rosemary, lavender and chamomile.

As this is so gentle and quick to use I'm going to be keeping it in my shower to use a couple of times a week to give my skin a regular treat. I can see it doing me the world of good!

This retails at £18 for 75ml but you can get it from Gorgeous Shop for £16.20
