Bourjois Quad Smoky Stories eyeshadow Palette

One product that really stood out to me at the Bourjois Party Ready Event was the Bourjois Quad Smoky Stories eyeshadow Palette.

04 Rock This Khaki, 01 Grey and Night, 05 Good Nude, 02 Over Rose

These palettes are so compact but they have everything you need for ta great party look! They offer 3 base colours and a gorgeous glitter which makes these the perfect product to have in your bag to transform a day look to night in a flash!

Bourjois have made it nice and easy for us by combining the perfect shades for various smoky eye looks. Each palette works brilliantly on it's own, but you can easily mix and match and have a little play about (it's the perfect excuse to buy more than one!) They are also integrated with primer so they are long lasting along with have  a cream-powder texture makes them super easy to blend

The left shade of the palette is to prime, just apply over eyelid as a base. The
right shade is to blend into outer corner crease to create  a shadow. you can use the darkest shade at the bottom to define along the lash line with the applicator included or a thin brush. Then you have the option of adding some sparkle to finish he look using the middle glitter to highlight brow and inner eye.

The double-ended applicator that's included is slightly different to the usual applicators we know and love (though in some cases -hate) one end is a soft foam tip to blend and the other is a more precise tip to contour and define so you can get into the corners and right to the edges of the lash line.

There are 8 shades available, all of which are just stunning! I was lucky enough to receive 4 of them in my goody bag at the event.

First is 04 Rock This Khaki - a colour I have really grown to love, at first I thought a green shadow would look a bit 'kermit' but it's really lovely with the golden shimmer to it. In fact when worn it's only a very subtle green and looks lovely on brown eyes.

01 Grey and Night is your typical smokey eye palette. With the white base and silver-grey overall look, it's a great little palette to have and a must for any lover of a deep black smouldering look.

05 Good Nude is one I imagine it is one I will wear most. It's perfect for day wear as I'm a big fan of a brown smokey eye for a more subtle look. the left shade worn alone is a perfect daytime shade and adding the glitter really makes it transform to a night time look which is gorgeous!

I love rose gold so 02 Over Rose was the first palette to jump out at me. the pink-toned  glitter is just gorgeous in this one. The shadows are really wearable shades and it's easily transformed to a party look, in fact I'd be tempted to wear the glitter in the day too! It's that nice!

These are £7.99 each and are 3 for 2 at Boots at the moment.
