Charles Worthington Shine Booster Shampoo and Contitioner

I'll be honest, it's not often I'm wowed by a shampoo. To be fair, I tried this one on a bit of a whim and I wasn't expecting much from it.
I've used a few bits from Charles Worthington before and I'm a big fan of the Salon at Home range. Their textursing spray has given my flat hair bit of 'oomph' on many occasions.

What they say-
'Charles Worthington Shine Booster Shampoo uses the unique Luminoil Complex which penetrates deep inside the hair cuticle, nourishing hair from within and smoothing the surface to give serious, shimmering shine. Green fruits and white florals – including jasmine blossom and lily – give a fresh, revitalising fragrance to the range.
This silky conditioner, enriched with our Luminoil and Pearl complex, has been formulated to leave hair exceptionally smooth and to help increase its shine, reflecting the light from every angle.'

The Shine Booster Shampoo has a pleasant smell and lathers nicely, and rinses out easily. it made my hair clean. It basically did what it was supposed to do. So far, so good.

I smoothed a handful of the Shine Booster Conditioner through the ends of my hair and it did it's job, it wasn't too thick, it rinsed out well and made my hair feel nicely conditioned.

I wrapped my hair in a towel and was on my merry way to getting ready for the day.

Everything seemed good, nothing to shout about but no complaints either.

It wasn't until I was drying my hair that noticed just how soft and shiny my hair was. I found myself running my fingers through my hair and was amazed how healthy it felt just after using it once. Considering this was just an everyday shampoo and not a treatment of any sort I was over the moon with the results.

My hair is quite fine and neither the shampoo or conditioner weighed it down or made it flat. It doesn't claim to give volume but my hair had a lot more bounce to it.

I'd say this is on par - if not better than any salon product I've used and the best bit is that they're just £5.99 each and also on 3 for 2 in Boots. I'll definitely be trying out more from the range.
