Bloggers Love Fashion Week

I paid a short-but-sweet visit to Day 2 of the Bloggers Love event last week. Having to find childcare on a weeknight can prove to be tricky but I managed to pop in for a bit and talk to a few brands that caught my eye.

The event was located at Penthouse in Leicester Square which has a pretty amazing view of London. it was an evening of fashion, beauty and of course cupcakes! It's always lovely looking around at how amazing everyone looks too! I'm so in ore of fashion bloggers! I don't know how you do it!
I wore my fux leather skirt and 'Celfie' top and hoped that was trendy enough!

With my blog being beauty based I skipped a lot of the fashion side - As much as the clothes were gorgeous I knew it wouldn't be beneficial to the brands to spend their time talking to me when there were very talented fashion bloggers around who would do there clothes a lot more justice!

I did get drawn to the gorgeous Fiorelli bags and entered their twitter competition to win  a bag of my choice by tweeting a pic. The more I see the picture of the bag the more I lust over it.

Leighton Denny were the first to wow me, they have some lovely shades of nail polish that have a brilliant glossy shine to them. Their tweet boutique meant I just tweeted which colour was most 'me' and I got to take one home to try. It's safe to say I'm loving my monochrome choice and am really keen to hear more about Leighton Denny as a brand.

I do love a little celebrity spot! There was a certain Big Brother star who was wearing some pretty amazing footwear which I couldn't take my eyes off -I'm kicking myself for not asking where she bought them from!

I was really impressed with Beauty Works. Their extensions are gorgeous and as someone with really fine thin hair I was really interested and spent a great deal of my time chatting to the lovely Amy about the many options that Beauty Works offer. I was given a hair brush to take home and try and I flicked through their brochure all the way home -they have some amazing products to choose from to transform your look in a flash!

Another brand that really stood out to me was FYT + Co. They gave me a gorgeous cosmetic bag to try and talked about their range of bags with interchangeable pouches -very handy if you want to pop to the bathroom for a quick freshen up or you are going out after work and don't want to take your whole bag with you. They have some great scarfs and hats too which are made of ridiculously soft bamboo yarn. Trust me, they are SO soft!

BLFW is always a  really good night, I had to shoot off before the fashion show but I hear it was great.

Thanks to everyone who helped put this on, I'm already looking forward to the next event.
