Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon- Peach on the Beach Review

As you may have read in my Boots Haul I treated myself to a few new bits and pieces. 3 for 2 offers often have me wandering around looking for the perfect 'extra' thing that I probably definitely  don't need. I don't know about you, but I always have two things I want and the third item is such a chore to decide on!

I really didn't need another lipstick, but this was a lip CRAYON -there's a difference. THERE'S A DIFFERENCE
Wandering along the isles, I stopped by the Bourjois stand, I noticed The Color Boost Lip Crayon in 'Peach on the Beach' and my (painfully first world) problem was solved. The colour just leapt out at me, I had to had it.

These have been about since last Summer and I completely glossed over them to be honest. I wasn't myself last year. Don't let the colour of the pen fool you, it's not a neon coral but  a  bright peachy -pink that is very wearable. The colour of the packaging makes it nice and easy to spot in your bag too.

Peach on the Beach applies like a dream and the gorgeous pigmentation means it can be built up to a strong bold colour or quickly applied for a wash of colour for a little pick-me-up. It has a handy twistable bottom, much like a normal lipstick. The thing I love most is how it gives a gloss-like effect without feeling or looking sticky at all. I've really gone off lip glosses til one is invented that my hair won't stick to so this is perfect for me.
Due to the shine I expected it to wipe off pretty quickly but it really stays put and it fades evenly too.

It also has the added bonus of having added spf 15 so when the sun finally makes an appearance you're lips are protected too. I'm really very impressed indeed.

They are £7.99 each and Bourjois often have offers on too. I think I'll be picking up a couple ore of these over the Summer!

  4. Ha, I was just about to say the same thing about the offer! I always find two but can never pick a third. I always end up finding something that is cheap but then I want to make it equal value to the other two products other wise I feel I'm getting ripped off. I should stop that mindset and just pick something I actually need.

This is great colour, not too bold at all =)
