They've been around a while now so you must all be aware of them. Tinted lip balms became a big thing last year and gave us a good alternative to lipstick. There's probably a million of these reviews floating around but after picking these up I was so impressed I couldn't help but share my views on the lovely little lip butters from Revlon.
I've been suffering with dry lips lately and lipsticks aren't looking brilliant on such a chapped base. Over the last few weeks a tinted lip balm is what I've been reaching for.
I love the lip butters as they instantly make the lips soft the moment you put them on, there's a great range of colours too.
I picked up a couple in a bit of a Boots Haul at the beginning of the month and I've loved them! They are usually £7.99 but they were doing a 2 for £10 deal and I just couldn't say no!
I needed something to wear in the day but would also look good when Im a bit more dressed up. After a few swatches and when my hand was suitably covered in various shades of pink I chose Creme Brule and Peach Parfait.
I had never noticed how cute the names were for these til I was rummaging though trying to chose a shade, I love it! And the criss-cross packaging makes them look a lot more high end (I think so anyway) I like that you can tell the colour of these from the packaging without having to open them or check the name on the bottom.
If you like the colour that Emma Stone wears in the ads for these, then you need Peach Parfait. It is a peach with a bit or coral to it. It is very subtle so is absolutely perfect for what I wanted it for, but if you are after a bit more pigmentation this isn't the one for you. There is a little gold glitter in it which lovely when the light hits it. Of course like all the lip butters it is so creamy and moisturising.

Here's a look of them swatched on my hand. not too pigmented but enough to add a hint of colour.

Creme Brule is a nude with warm undertones. I'm a big nude lipstick fan so this was the first colour I picked up. The swatch shows the gold shimmer in it but when applied the gold is very very subtle. This is a perfect alternative to my Mac Creme D'Nude.

Strawberry Shortcake is another favourite of mine and I'm tempted to pick up a couple more. What are your favourites?
