Debenhams Competition

The Debenhams blog are running a competition to win £500 to spend in their store. There is so much in there I like at the moment so I couldn't turn this down, I had to give it a go! A shopping spree is what everyone needs in January! It would certainly pick me up!

We just have to create 2 Winter looks using items from their store. So here are my entries:

This is my Daytime look, perfect for a winters walk followed by a trip to a coffee shop to warm up.

Debenhams Winter Walk

The thermal top (HotSquash scoopneck thermal top)  gives you the warmth you need without too many bulky layer, at £36.80 it's really an investment. Simply adding it to these lovely Oasis Rinse Wash Cherry jeans (£45) and covering it with this Izabel London Black faux fur gilet (£40) gives you the base for the outfit. Any good Winter walk needs warm snow boots and these Mantaray black faux fur trim wedge snow boots are only £31.50 and are very warm indeed and also look absolutely lovely! For extra warmth a hat is needed and this Skinnydip Black embellished headphone beanie hat has headphones built in so you can listen to music but your ears are still nice and warm, it's such a great idea and only £13.50!
Now, you need something to carry your phone and purse in but you don't want to be lugging around anything too big and bulky, so this Star by Julien Macdonald black quilted cross body bag is perfect, just enough space to carry what you need and a complete steal at £24.50!
Add a spritz of Marc Jacobs Daisy (£54) and you're good to go!

My night time look is what I'd wear to a work Christmas party or have drinks with the girls. I think it's glam enough for a night out but still slightly covered up for the times when you're waiting around for a taxi in the cold!

Debenhams Night Tiime Look

I planned this outfit around the gorgeous Jolie Moi Dark red tartan zip blazer, for only £25 it's a great wardrobe staple and as tartan is very in this season you will get a lot of wear out of it. I added a simple vest underneath in the form of this Oasis Foil neck vest (£20) and these Warehouse coated jeggings (£42).
No out fit for a night out is complete without a pair of heels, and I love these classic Faith Black suedette high court shoes  (£45) They really add something to the outfit and bring it into 'night time'
A small bag is all you need for this and I love the Wine Faux Fur textured envelope clutch bag (£23.20) The colours are just gorgeous for this season and it's big enough to fit all your bits and pieces in it too. Add a few accessories like this Betty Jackson necklace (£10), the Butterfly by Matthew Williamson wrap drop earrings -which are only £4! Finishing off with this gorgeous
Mood Jet and gold mesh bangle pack for £12. I think this is a perfect outfit that can be dressed up or down too, I love something that is versatile!

If you like any of these bits get down to Debenhams!
