Last week I attended the launch of the GOSH Spring/Summer
2013 range.
It was a lovely evening of wine and make-up chat with the
lovely girls from Sparkle PR, what’s not to like?
There’s plenty of gems coming to a Superdrug near you this
Spring, including a lovely contour kit and an absolutely amazing mascara but this post is
going to focus on the Special Edition Nail polish.
They’ve released a great range of vibrant colours which are perfect for the transition
from winter to spring, right through to summer.
Starting off with a gorgeous navy blue is Tilted Blue. I’m
already wearing this colour a lot as it goes with everything and is a nice
change from jet black nails –which I love!
High School Flirt is a girly nude, which isn’t too wishy-washy like many nude polishes. It’s similar
to my Barry M Lychee but has more of a pinky undertone. This works with
everything, it's perfect for work! And nude will work in every season. If you don't have a nude polish yet, I suggest you start with this one.
Taking you through to Spring is Venus, a pale teal. It’s just bit darker than the pastel shades that have been about recently. It’s just a
bit more blue than a tiffany box.
Ending in one of my favourite colours for summer, Tropicana,
a lovely bright coral. I’ve collected many coral polishes over the years and
this one is strong competitor for my favourite, it really pops (against a tan
it will be amazing!) it's so shiney, and
is really long lasting.
L-R: Tilted Blue, High School Flirt, Tropicana, Venus
They’ve also released the 2 glitters Girls on Film, a
pinky silver glitter and Greed, a sparkly gold with a mixture of small gold pieces and chunkier hexagonal gold flakes.
These are just amazing, you
only need one coat for a good coverage of sparkle but a couple of coats really
cover your nails in glitter for a really striking look. Girls on Film is a favourite of mine and looks lovely over a pale pink when the glitter catches the light!
This is 2 coats of Greed...
This is 1 coat of Girls on Film...
I can see me getting a lot of use out of all of these colours over the next few months and you just know that GOSH will do some brilliant 3 for 2 offers so you can snap up a few! They'e released tomorrow and retail at £4.99 each
love the girls on film polishes esp the pink glittery one!
